Prof. Pawel Olczyk

He obtained the academic title of professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of pharmaceutical sciences. Professor Paweł Olczyk is the Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sosnowiec of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Deputy Chairperson of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Discipline Council of the Medical University of Silesia (since 2019), Member of the Council of the Silesian Pharmaceutical Chamber (since 2017), Expert of the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship. He was elected a member of the Drug Therapy and Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the 2020-2023 term. The scientific and research activity of Professor Paweł Olczyk covers the biochemistry and pathobiochemistry of connective tissue in relation to the repair of tissue damage and metabolic disorders.
