Julija Razumiene Ph.D. is a Chief researcher at Vilnius University, Life sciences center, Institute of Biochemistry. Her research interest is electrochemistry of nanostructured carbon materials and the creation of electrochemical biosensors, investigations of biological systems structure and functioning, development and creation of a new generation of materials and analytical systems. Particular attention also has been paid to the development of re-agentless biosensors. Aiming to implement research results in practice, the project's financing has been obtained for the design of prototypes of analyzers for hemodialysis monitoring, investigation of the severity of acute pancreatitis as well as for fertilizer and industrial wastewater analysis.
