Health monitoring of dairy cattle plays a vital role for increasing the dairy products supply worldwide. Nowadays farmers are showing less interest in dairy sector as animals are suffering from various ailing health issues, unpredictable killing diseases, and advanced breeding costs. Therefore, it is necessary for farmers to adopt efficient technical methods for cattle health monitoring to increase the milk production supply. This study documented various wireless sensor network (WSN)‐based automatic health monitoring systems for monitoring various diseases of dairy cattle. The main objective of WSN‐based intelligent monitoring systems in farm automation is to monitor the health of dairy cattle on regular basis. This monitoring system needs to be installed in local and remote locations of farms that will assist the concerned farmers in monitoring their cattle activities from diverse locations for the whole day. All collected factors from the automated system will be stored in a database. Subsequently, with the help of farm automation, farmers can retrieve information for the execution of correct farm control strategies. Moreover, WSN is low‐cost technology which is specific for the identification of diseases in dairy animals. This revolution in advanced technological farm automation will aid in improving the productivity rate with the reduction of human intervention. This review study concludes all cattle monitoring systems along with various issues and challenges.

Globally, breast cancer is one of the most significant causes of death among women. Early detection accompanied by prompt treatment can reduce the risk of death due to breast cancer. Currently, machine learning in cloud computing plays a pivotal role in disease diagnosis, but predominantly among the people living in remote areas where medical facilities are scarce. Diagnosis systems based on machine learning act as secondary readers and assist radiologists in the proper diagnosis of diseases, whereas cloud-based systems can support telehealth services and remote diagnostics. Techniques based on artificial neural networks (ANN) have attracted many researchers to explore their capability for disease diagnosis. Extreme learning machine (ELM) is one of the variants of ANN that has a huge potential for solving various classification problems. The framework proposed in this paper amalgamates three research domains: Firstly, ELM is applied for the diagnosis of breast cancer. Secondly, to eliminate insignificant features, the gain ratio feature selection method is employed. Lastly, a cloud computing-based system for remote diagnosis of breast cancer using ELM is proposed. The performance of the cloud-based ELM is compared with some state-of-the-art technologies for disease diagnosis. The results achieved on the Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer (WBCD) dataset indicate that the cloud-based ELM technique outperforms other results. The best performance results of ELM were found for both the standalone and cloud environments, which were compared. The important findings of the experimental results indicate that the accuracy achieved is 0.9868, the recall is 0.9130, the precision is 0.9054, and the F1-score is 0.8129.

Bone cancer is considered a serious health problem, and, in many cases, it causes patient death. The X-ray, MRI, or CT-scan image is used by doctors to identify bone cancer. The manual process is time-consuming and required expertise in that field. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an automated system to classify and identify the cancerous bone and the healthy bone. The texture of a cancer bone is different compared to a healthy bone in the affected region. But in the dataset, several images of cancer and healthy bone are having similar morphological characteristics. This makes it difficult to categorize them. To tackle this problem, we first find the best suitable edge detection algorithm after that two feature sets one with hog and another without hog are prepared. To test the efficiency of these feature sets, two machine learning models, support vector machine (SVM) and the Random forest, are utilized. The features set with hog perform considerably better on these models. Also, the SVM model trained with hog feature set provides an -score of 0.92 better than Random forest -score 0.77.

Breast cancer is the most frequently encountered medical hazard for women in their forties, affecting one in every eight women. It is the greatest cause of death worldwide, and early detection and diagnosis of the disease are extremely challenging. Breast cancer currently exceeds all other female cancers, including ovarian cancer. Researchers can use access to healthcare records to find previously unknown healthcare trends. According to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), breast cancer mortality rates can be lowered if the disease is detected early. The novelty of our work is to develop an optimized stacking ensemble learning (OSEL) model capable of early breast cancer prediction. A dataset from the University of California, Irvine repository was used, and comparisons to modern classifier models were undertaken. The implementation analyses reveal the unique approach’s efficacy and superiority when compared to existing contemporary categorization models (AdaBoostM1, gradient boosting, stochastic gradient boosting, CatBoost, and XGBoost). In every classification task, predictive models may be used to predict the class level, and the current research explores a range of predictive models. It is better to integrate multiple classification algorithms to generate a set of prediction models capable of predicting each class level with 91–99% accuracy. On the breast cancer Wisconsin dataset, the suggested OSEL model attained a maximum accuracy of 99.45%, much higher than any single classifier. Thus, the study helps healthcare professionals find breast cancer and prevent it from happening.

The paper describes the usage of self-learning Hierarchical LSTM technique for classifying hatred and trolling contents in social media code-mixed data. The Hierarchical LSTM-based learning is a novel learning architecture inspired from the neural learning models. The proposed HLSTM model is trained to identify the hatred and trolling words available in social media contents. The proposed HLSTM systems model is equipped with self-learning and predicting mechanism for annotating hatred words in transliteration domain. The Hindi–English data are ordered into Hindi, English, and hatred labels for classification. The mechanism of word embedding and character-embedding features are used here for word representation in the sentence to detect hatred words. The method developed based on HLSTM model helps in recognizing the hatred word context by mining the intention of the user for using that word in the sentence. Wide experiments suggests that the HLSTM-based classification model gives the accuracy of 97.49% when evaluated against the standard parameters like BLSTM, CRF, LR, SVM, Random Forest and Decision Tree models especially when there are some hatred and trolling words in the social media data.

Recently, with the massive growth of IoT devices, the attack surfaces have also intensified. Thus, cybersecurity has become a critical component to protect organizational boundaries. In networks, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) are employed to raise critical flags during network management. One aspect is malicious traffic identification, where zero-day attack detection is a critical problem of study. Current approaches are aligned towards deep learning (DL) methods for IDSs, but the success of the DL mechanism depends on the feature learning process, which is an open challenge. Thus, in this paper, the authors propose a technique which combines both CNN, and GRU, where different CNN–GRU combination sequences are presented to optimize the network parameters. In the simulation, the authors used the CICIDS-2017 benchmark dataset and used metrics such as precision, recall, False Positive Rate (FPR), True Positive Rate (TRP), and other aligned metrics. The results suggest a significant improvement, where many network attacks are detected with an accuracy of 98.73%, and an FPR rate of 0.075. We also performed a comparative analysis with other existing techniques, and the obtained results indicate the efficacy of the proposed IDS scheme in real cybersecurity setups.
