Nicolás Medrano received B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in 1989 and 1998, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor of electronics with the Faculty of Physics, University of Zaragoza, and a member of the Group of Power Electronics and Microelectronics, Aragon Institute of Engineering Research (I3A), University of Zaragoza. His current research interests include hardware implementation of neural network models for signal processing, smart sensor interfaces, wireless sensor networks, and intelligent instrumentation. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
