Dr. Morshed Alam is a Senior Lecturer at the Swinburne University of
Technology. H completed a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2007, and a Ph.D. in
Mechanical Engineering from the Swinburne University of Technology in 2012. From
2012 to 2018, he worked as a research fellow with the Department of Civil and
Construction Engineering at Swinburne. He joined the
Department of Civil and Construction Engineering in Swinburne in February
2019 as a lecturer. His research interests include energy-efficient building materials and
technologies, smart building energy management, thermal energy storage,
heatwave resilience in buildings, and building information modelling.
