Prof. Haitao Zhao is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Yangzhou University. He is also the director of national first-class courses, an expert on the soil improvement innovation team of Jiangsu Province’s modern agriculture (watermelon) industrial technology system, one of the first batch of Jiangsu Province cultivated land soil pollution prevention experts, member of Jiangsu Province’s characteristic agricultural mechanization expert steering group, eighth in Jiangsu Energy Research Association Member of the Biomass Conversion Technology and Equipment Professional Committee,  “Vice President of Science and Technology” of Jiangsu Province’s Mass Entrepreneurship Plan, Griffith University, Australia, visiting scholar, member of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences. He is mainly engaged in research work in the fields of organic solid waste resource treatment, soil fertilizer and agricultural environmental protection, water environment and water resources. He has won the second prize of the National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fishery Harvest Achievement Award, the first prize (two times) and the second prize (two times) of the China Business Federation Science and Technology Award, and the second prize of the China Industry–University Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award (two times), the first prize of Jiangsu Province Agricultural Harvest Award (two times), etc.
