Mohamed S. Abdalzaher (Senior Member, IEEE) received a B.Sc. (Hons.) in electronics and communications engineering in 2008, and an M.Sc. degree in electronics and communications engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2012, and a Ph.D. degree from the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, Madinet Borg Al Arab, Egypt, in 2016. He is an Associate Professor with the Seismology Department, National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, Cairo. He was a special research student at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, from 2015 to 2016. From April 2019 to October 2019, he worked as a opst-doctoral researcher at the Center for Japan-Egypt Cooperation in Science and Technology, Kyushu University. His research interests include earthquake engineering, data communication networks, wireless communications, WSNs security, IoT, and DL. Dr. Abdalzaher is a Guest Editor with Energies Journal and a Topic Editor for the Communications Theory Section, Frontiers in Communications and Networks Journal. He is also a TPC Member of the Vehicular Technology Conference and International Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computers and a reviewer for the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, the IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Access, Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, Applied Soft Computing, the Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, and IET Journals.
