This study focuses on establishing a conceptual design for a multirotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The objectives of this octocopter are to reduce the number of flight cancelations and car accidents owing to low-visibility issues and to improve abnormal environmental conditions due to the presence of smoke. The proposed octocopter contains a convergent–divergent [CD] duct-based storage tank, which provides a platform to store saltwater and allows it to fly in foggy zones. Fine saltwater is sprayed from the octocopter and dispersed into the low clouds, thereby altering the vapor’s microphysical processes to break it up and improve visibility. The nature of the seawater and its enhanced fluid properties, due to the involvement of octocopter, creates the fluid flow mixing between atmospheric fluids and spraying particles, which increases the settling of foggy and smokey content groundward. For deployment, the conceptual design of the octocopter was initially constructed through analytical approaches. Additionally, three unique historical relationships were created. The standard engineering approaches involved in this work were stability analysis through MATLAB and fluid-property analysis through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) cum multiple reference frame (MRF) tools. The systematic model of this octocopter was developed by CATIA, and thereafter CFD and fluid–structure-interaction (FSI) analyses were computed, in ANSYS Workbench, on the octocopter for various environmental conditions. The aerodynamic forces on the drone, the enhancement of dynamic pressure by the presence of high amounts of rotors and nozzle sprayer, suitable material to resist aerodynamic loadings, and tests on the efficiency of the controller and its electronic components were investigated in detail. Finally, the proposed octocopter-based dynamic system was conceptually constructed.

In Aviation sector, composite materials and its application to each component are one of the prime factors of consideration due to the high strength to weight ratio, design flexibility and non-corrosive so that the composite materials are widely used in the low weight constructions and also it can be treated as a suitable alternative to metals. The objective of this paper is to estimate and compare the suitability of a composite skin joint in an aircraft fuselage with different joints by simulating the displacement, normal stress, vonmises stress and shear stress with the help of numerical solution methods. The reference Z-stringer component of this paper is modeled by CATIA and numerical simulation is carried out by ANSYS has been used for splice joint presents in the aircraft fuselage with three combinations of joints such as riveted joint, bonded joint and hybrid joint. Nowadays the stringers are using to avoid buckling of fuselage skin, it has joined together by rivets and they are connected end to end by splice joint. Design and static analysis of three-dimensional models of joints such as bonded, riveted and hybrid are carried out and results are compared.

The impacts of conflicting aerodynamic forces and side drifting forces are the primary unstable elements in automobiles. The action of an unstable environment in automobile vehicles increases the chance of an accident occurring. As a result, much study is required to determine how opposing aerodynamic forces and side drifting force affects function, as well as how to deal with them for safe and smooth navigation. In this work, an intercity bus is chosen as a main object, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis is used to estimate aerodynamic forces on the bus in all major directions. Experimentation is also carried out for validation reasons. CFD findings for a scaled base model and a dimple-loaded model based on experimental results from a subsonic wind tunnel are demonstrated to be correct. The drag forces generated by CFD simulations on test models are carefully compared to the experimental drag findings of same-dimensioned models. The error percentages between the results of these two methods are acquired and the percentages are determined to be within an acceptable range of significant limitations. Following these validations, CATIA is used to create a total of nine distinct models, the first of which is a standard intercity bus, whereas the other eight models are fitted with drag reduction techniques such as dimples, riblets, and fins on the surface of their upper cumulus side. A sophisticated computational tool, ANSYS Fluent 17.2, is used to estimate the comparative assessments of the predictions of aerodynamic force fluctuations on bus models. Finally, dimples on the top and side surfaces of the bus model (DESIGN–I) are proposed as a more efficient model than other models because dimples are a vital component that may lower pressure drag on the bus by 18% in the main flow direction and up to 43% in the sideslip direction. Furthermore, by minimizing the different aerodynamic force sources without impacting the preparatory needs, the proposed model may provide comfortable travel. The real-time bus is created, and the finalized drag reduction is applied to the optimized places over the whole bus model. In addition, five distinct size-based bus models are developed and studied in terms of aerodynamic forces, necessary energy to resist aerodynamic drag, required forward force for successful movement, instantaneous demand for particular power, and fuel consumption rate. Finally, the formation of aeroacoustic noise owing to turbulence is estimated using sophisticated computer simulation. Last, for real-time applications, multi-parametric studies based on appropriate intercity buses are established.

In Aviation sector, fatigue life and its analysis of each component is one of the prime factors of consideration due to the catastrophic failures that can result from it. Most of the components fail in high cycle fatigue regimes, but the compressor's fatigue life is intermediate between high cycle fatigue and low cycle fatigue. Objective of this paper is to estimate and compare the suitability of a centrifugal compressor in a gas turbine engine with different materials are Titanium alloy 685, Aluminium alloy 2618 and Carpenter Invar 36 alloy by calculating the displacement and fatigue life using analytical method. The reference component of this paper is modeled by using CATIA and simulation is carried through ANSYS with the property of Aluminium alloy 2618, for the purpose of validating the simulation and analytical results.
