Hong Jiang received a B.E. Degree from Xinjiang Institute of Technology in 2000, and an M.E. and Ph.D. from Xinjiang University in 2006 and 2012, respectively. His research interests include rotating machinery fault diagnosis, deep learning, signal processing, and gear dynamics. He has served as the secretary of the Branch Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xinjiang University, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Software of Xinjiang University, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xinjiang University, the deputy director of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee of Xinjiang University, and the deputy secretary of the Party General Branch and the director of the Library of Xinjiang University. Currently, he serves as the data of the Party Committee of Xinjiang University Smart Manufacturing Modern Industry College, the China Vibration Engineering Society Rotor Dynamics Professional Committee director, and the Northwest Branch of the Dynamic Testing Professional Committee. He was awarded the third prize for science and technology construction of AQSIQ in 2014, the second prize for teaching achievements of the Ministry of Education in 2018, the second prize for science and technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2018, and the second prize of natural science and technology of Xinjiang University in 2016, etc.
