The development of automatic emotion detection systems has recently gained significant attention due to the growing possibility of their implementation in several applications, including affective computing and various fields within biomedical engineering. Use of the electroencephalograph (EEG) signal is preferred over facial expression, as people cannot control the EEG signal generated by their brain; the EEG ensures a stronger reliability in the psychological signal. However, because of its uniqueness between individuals and its vulnerability to noise, use of EEG signals can be rather complicated. In this paper, we propose a methodology to conduct EEG-based emotion recognition by using a filtered bispectrum as the feature extraction subsystem and an artificial neural network (ANN) as the classifier. The bispectrum is theoretically superior to the power spectrum because it can identify phase coupling between the nonlinear process components of the EEG signal. In the feature extraction process, to extract the information contained in the bispectrum matrices, a 3D pyramid filter is used for sampling and quantifying the bispectrum value. Experiment results show that the mean percentage of the bispectrum value from 5 × 5 non-overlapped 3D pyramid filters produces the highest recognition rate. We found that reducing the number of EEG channels down to only eight in the frontal area of the brain does not significantly affect the recognition rate, and the number of data samples used in the training process is then increased to improve the recognition rate of the system. We have also utilized a probabilistic neural network (PNN) as another classifier and compared its recognition rate with that of the back-propagation neural network (BPNN), and the results show that the PNN produces a comparable recognition rate and lower computational costs. Our research shows that the extracted bispectrum values of an EEG signal using 3D filtering as a feature extraction method is suitable for use in an EEG-based emotion recognition system.

This paper describes the development of situational awareness models and applications to assess cybersecurity risks based on Annex ISO 27001:2013. The risk assessment method used is the direct testing method, namely audit, exercise and penetration testing. The risk assessment of this study is classified into three levels, namely high, medium and low. A high-risk value is an unacceptable risk value. Meanwhile, low and medium risk values can be categorized as acceptable risk values. The results of a network security case study with security performance index indicators based on the percentage of compliance with ISO 27001:2013 annex controls and the value of the risk level of the findings of the three test methods showed that testing with the audit method was 38.29% with a moderate and high-risk level. While the test results with the tabletop exercise method are 75% with low and moderate risk levels. On the other hand, the results with the penetration test method are 16.66%, with moderate and high-risk levels. Test results with unacceptable risk values or high-risk corrective actions are taken through an application. Finally, corrective actions have been verified to prove there is an increase in cyber resilience and security.

The Indonesian spectrum usage fees—the so-called Biaya Hak Pengguna Frekuensi Izin Pita Frekuensi Radio (BHP IPFR)—are currently calculated using a formula determined by the three following main parameters: the frequency band, the country’s economic parameter, and the nationwide population. As spectrum usage fees are proportional to the width of the bandwidth, the current formula would result in an extremely high price when applied to 5G-mmWave private networks, with the cost burden being a direct consequence for the service operator. In this paper, we propose the formulation of a new spectrum usage fee for 5G-mmWave private network implementation in Indonesian industrial areas. To do so, we evaluate the current formula, adopt the framework offered by the ITU-R SM.2012-5 (06/2016), and use an industrial reference index—the Indonesia Industry Readiness Index 4.0 (INDI 4.0) score. We test the proposal by applying the new formula to calculate the 5G-mmWave private network spectrum usage fee for the Jakarta industrial area. The result shows that the new formula gives a lower spectrum usage fee than the current formula, which benefits 5G-mmWave private network service operators. Such savings can be regarded as a government subsidy for the service operators to use in various ways in the industry, providing further economic benefits. Using the input–output model, we prove that despite the proposed new formula brings a lower spectrum usage fee, resulting in a loss in state income, it will lead to a much greater positive impact on the national economic output. Applying the new formula will eventually have a multiplier effect on various sectors and encourage digital economic growth and national digital transformation, especially for vertical industries in Indonesia. This study may serve as a guideline or initial reference for Indonesian policymakers and service operators for applying the CAPEX and OPEX cost of using the new spectrum for 5G-mmWave private network service implementation and estimating the economic multiplier for 5G-mmWave private network service deployment in industrial areas. It can also be used as a benchmark case for other countries to apply spectrum usage fees for private networks in industrial areas.

Computerized cross-language plagiarism detection has recently become essential. With the scarcity of scientific publications in Bahasa Indonesia, many Indonesian authors frequently consult publications in English in order to boost the quantity of scientific publications in Bahasa Indonesia (which is currently rising). Due to the syntax disparity between Bahasa Indonesia and English, most of the existing methods for automated cross-language plagiarism detection do not provide satisfactory results. This paper analyses the probability of developing Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) for a computerized cross-language plagiarism detector for two languages with different syntax. To improve performance, various alterations in LSA are suggested. By using a linear vector quantization (LVQ) classifier in the LSA and taking into account the Frobenius norm, output has reached up to 65.98% in accuracy. The results of the experiments showed that the best accuracy achieved is 87% with a document size of 6 words, and the document definition size must be kept below 10 words in order to maintain high accuracy. Additionally, based on experimental results, this paper suggests utilizing the frequency occurrence method as opposed to the binary method for the term–document matrix construction.

Cyberdisasters require an organization’s disaster team to be prepared. Disaster events are difficult to predict, but the impact of this risk on an organization is large. However, organizations sometimes struggle in being prepared for disaster situations. Here, awareness of disaster situations when analysing priority disasters (e.g., earthquakes and pandemics) and how to mitigate them can help an organization’s preparedness. Mitigation scenarios need to be determined and simulated so that a disaster team is ready to face disaster. Using Endsley’s situational awareness model and a tabletop exercise, this study aimed to help a disaster team determine cyberdisaster risk priority and assess a team’s preparedness for dealing with a cyberdisaster. The situation awareness model was divided into two stages: awareness of cyberdisaster situations and tabletop evaluations. Awareness of a disaster situation was carried out by determining the highest priority for disaster risk using the fuzzy failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) method. The results of the first study show that the high-risk category contains ransomware attacks during pandemics and earthquakes. The second study performed a tabletop simulation questionnaire survey of earthquakes and ransomware attacks during a pandemic for several disaster teams with 152 respondents. The results of the survey evaluation of the earthquakes and ransomware attacks simulation survey show that the effect factors of cyberdisaster simulation decisions are 95% system capability (p < 0.05), 90% knowledge (p < 0.05), and 90% awareness of a disaster situation (p < 0.05); these factors show the effect of a disaster team’s decision during a tabletop simulation. The novelty of this research lies in building a model for how an organizational process determines the priority of a cyberdisaster tabletop simulation and the factors that contribute to increasing a disaster team’s awareness in dealing with cyberattacks.

In multi-hop routing, cluster heads close to the base station functionaries as intermediate nodes for father cluster heads to relay the data packet from regular nodes to base station. The cluster heads that act as relays will experience energy depletion quicker that causes hot spot problem. This paper proposes a dynamic multihop routing algorithm named Data Similarity Aware for Dynamic Multi-hop Routing Protocol (DSA-DMRP) to improve the network lifetime, and satisfy the requirement of multi-hop routing protocol for the dynamic node clustering that consider the data similarity of adjacent nodes. The DSA-DMRP uses fuzzy aggregation technique to measure their data similarity degree in order to partition the network into unequal size clusters. In this mechanism, each node can recognize and note its similar neighbor nodes. Next, K-hop Clustering Algorithm (KHOPCA) that is modified by adding a priority factor that considers residual energy and distance to the base station is used to select cluster heads and create the best routes for intra-cluster and inter-cluster transmission. The DSA-DMRP was compared against the KHOPCA to justify the performance. Simulation results show that, the DSA DMRP can improve the network lifetime longer than the KHOPCA and can satisfy the requirement of the dynamic multi-hop routing protocol.
