Due to the excessive growth of PM 2.5 in aerosol, the cases of lung cancer are increasing rapidly and are most severe among other types as the highest mortality rate. In most of the cases, lung cancer is detected with least symptoms at its later stage. Hence, clinical records may play a vital role to diagnose this disease at the correct stage for suitable medication to cure it. To detect lung cancer an accurate prediction method is needed which is significantly reliable. In the digital clinical record era with advancement in computing algorithms including machine learning techniques opens an opportunity to ease the process. Various machine learning algorithms may be applied over realistic clinical data but the predictive power is yet to be comprehended for accurate results. This paper envisages to compare twelve potential machine learning algorithms over clinical data with eleven symptoms of lung cancer along with two major habits of patients to predict a positive case accurately. The result has been found based on classification and heat map correlation. K-Nearest Neighbor Model and Bernoulli Naive Bayes Model are found most significant methods for early lung cancer prediction.
In the ever-evolving healthcare sector, the widespread adoption of Internet of Things and wearable technologies facilitates remote patient monitoring. However, the existing client/server infrastructure poses significant security and privacy challenges, necessitating strict adherence to healthcare data regulations. To combat these issues, a decentralized approach is imperative, and blockchain technology emerges as a compelling solution for strengthening Internet of Things and medical systems security. This paper introduces HNMblock, a model that elevates the realms of epidemiological monitoring, medical system security, and wellness enhancement. By harnessing the transparency and immutability inherent in blockchain, HNMblock empowers real-time, tamper-proof tracking of epidemiological data, enabling swift responses to disease outbreaks. Furthermore, it fortifies the security of medical systems through advanced cryptographic techniques and smart contracts, with a paramount focus on safeguarding patient privacy. HNMblock also fosters personalized health care, encouraging patient involvement and data-informed decision-making. The integration of blockchain within the healthcare domain, as exemplified by HNMblock, holds the potential to revolutionize data management, epidemiological surveillance, and wellness, as meticulously explored in this research article.
Public auditing and data deduplication are integral considerations in providing efficient and secure cloud storage services. Nevertheless, the traditional data deduplication models that support public auditing can endure the enormous waste of storage and computation resources induced through data redundancy and repeated audit work by multiple tenants on trusted third-party auditor (TPA). In this work, we introduce blockchain-based secure decentralized public auditing in a decentralized cloud storage with an efficient deduplication model. We employ blockchain to take on the task of centralized TPA, which also mitigates the implications of malicious blockchain miners by using the concept of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). Specifically, we employ the idea of redactability for blockchain to handle often neglected security issues that would adversely affect the integrity of stored auditing records on blockchain in decentralized auditing models. However, the proposed model also employs an efficient deduplication scheme to attain adequate storage savings while preserving the users from data loss due to duplicate faking attacks. Moreover, the detailed concrete security analysis demonstrates the computational infeasibility of the proposed model against proof-of-ownership, duplicate faking attack (DFA), collusion attack, storage free-riding attack, data privacy, and forgery attack with high efficiency. Finally, the comprehensive performance analysis shows the scalability and feasibility of the proposed model.

Internet-of-Farming Things (IoFT)-enabled smart agriculture can collect data more reliably and frequently to track the crop’s status and other significant information. Considering that smart agriculture requires working with substantial amounts of sensitive data. In light of this, frequent data processing may threaten the confidentiality and integrity of data and IoFT device privacy. Although numerous privacy-preserving data aggregation methods have been implemented to address these issues, they also have certain security vulnerabilities, such as inadequate data confidentiality, collusion attacks, and malicious data mining attacks. Therefore, we introduce a three-tier architecture-assisted redactable blockchain-based secure data aggregation method with source authentication for the fog-enabled IoFT1. This work provides an efficient and secure two-level data aggregation model. The proposed model supports resistance to collusion and malicious data mining threats launched by internal or external attackers. It can also achieve perfect data confidentiality and integrity against a malicious aggregator and an inquisitive control center for an authorized IoFT device. Specifically, the detailed performance analysis and theoretical concrete security proofs demonstrate the practicability and efficiency of the proposed model.
