In the evolving landscape of cybersecurity, traditional information technology (IT) infrastructures often struggle to meet the demands of modern risk management frameworks, which require enhanced security, scalability, and analytical capabilities. This paper proposes a novel artificial intelligence (AI)–driven IT infrastructure backed by blockchain technology, specifically designed to optimize risk management processes in diverse organizational environments. By leveraging artificial intelligence for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making, combined with blockchain’s secure and immutable ledger for data integrity and transparency, the proposed infrastructure offers a robust solution to existing challenges in risk management. The infrastructure is adaptable and scalable to support a variety of risk management methodologies, providing a more secure, efficient, and intelligent system. The findings highlight significant improvements in the accuracy, speed, and reliability of risk management, underscoring the infrastructure’s capability to proactively address emerging cyber threats. To ensure the proposed model effectively addresses the most critical issues, the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) technique will be used to analyze and evaluate the interrelationships among the existing critical factors. This approach evaluates the interrelationships and impacts of these factors, verifying the model’s comprehensiveness in managing organizational risk. This study lays the foundation for future research aimed at refining AI-driven infrastructures and exploring their broader applications in enhancing organizational cybersecurity.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed critical vulnerabilities in global healthcare systems, particularly in data security and interoperability. This paper introduces the blockHealthSecure Framework, which integrates blockchain technology with advanced cybersecurity measures to address these weaknesses and build resilient post-pandemic healthcare systems. Blockchain’s decentralized and immutable architecture enhances the accuracy, transparency, and protection of electronic medical records (EMRs) and sensitive healthcare data. Additionally, it facilitates seamless and secure data sharing among healthcare providers, addressing long-standing interoperability challenges. This study explores the challenges and benefits of blockchain integration in healthcare, with a focus on regulatory and ethical considerations such as HIPAA and GDPR compliance. Key contributions include detailed case studies and examples that demonstrate blockchain’s ability to mitigate risks like ransomware, insider threats, and data breaches. This framework’s design leverages smart contracts, cryptographic hashing, and zero-trust architecture to ensure secure data management and proactive threat mitigation. The findings emphasize the framework’s potential to enhance data security, improve system adaptability, and support regulatory compliance in the face of evolving healthcare challenges. By bridging existing gaps in healthcare cybersecurity, the blockHealthSecure Framework offers a scalable, future-proof solution for safeguarding health outcomes and preparing for global health crises.

Blockchain technology has now emerged as a ground-breaking technology with possible solutions to applications from securing smart cities to e-voting systems. Although it started as a digital currency or cryptocurrency, bitcoin, there is no doubt that blockchain is influencing and will influence business and society more in the near future. We present a comprehensive survey of how blockchain technology is applied to provide security over the web and to counter ongoing threats as well as increasing cybercrimes and cyber-attacks. During the review, we also investigate how blockchain can affect cyber data and information over the web. Our contributions included the following: (i) summarizing the Blockchain architecture and models for cybersecurity (ii) classifying and discussing recent and relevant works for cyber countermeasures using blockchain (iii) analyzing the main challenges and obstacles of blockchain technology in response to cyber defense and cybersecurity and (iv) recommendations for improvement and future research on the integration of blockchain with cyber defense.

In the ever-evolving healthcare sector, the widespread adoption of Internet of Things and wearable technologies facilitates remote patient monitoring. However, the existing client/server infrastructure poses significant security and privacy challenges, necessitating strict adherence to healthcare data regulations. To combat these issues, a decentralized approach is imperative, and blockchain technology emerges as a compelling solution for strengthening Internet of Things and medical systems security. This paper introduces HNMblock, a model that elevates the realms of epidemiological monitoring, medical system security, and wellness enhancement. By harnessing the transparency and immutability inherent in blockchain, HNMblock empowers real-time, tamper-proof tracking of epidemiological data, enabling swift responses to disease outbreaks. Furthermore, it fortifies the security of medical systems through advanced cryptographic techniques and smart contracts, with a paramount focus on safeguarding patient privacy. HNMblock also fosters personalized health care, encouraging patient involvement and data-informed decision-making. The integration of blockchain within the healthcare domain, as exemplified by HNMblock, holds the potential to revolutionize data management, epidemiological surveillance, and wellness, as meticulously explored in this research article.
