Salvatore Fabozzi is a Researcher at the ENEA Research Centre of Portici (Naples) in the laboratory of Smart Grid and Energy Networks. In 2014, he obtained his master degree with honours in Environmental Engineering at the University of Napoli Federico II. In 2018, he gained his European Ph.D. in Energy Science and Engineering at University Pathenope of Naples in collaboration with Aalborg University (Denmark). From January 2018 to July 2018, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Aalborg University, Department of Plan Energy. From November 2018 to May 2021, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher analyzing the energy-saving and energy planning strategies, related to building and HVAC performance improvement, from an economic, environmental and technical point of view. Currently, his research interest is improving the efficiency of the energy system to reduce the losses on the networks and increase the flexibility of the energy system through cross-sector/vector integration.
