Dr. Isabel Iglesias

Isabel Iglesias holds a Ph.D. in climatic sciences: meteorology, physical oceanography, and climatic change from the University of Vigo (2010). Since March 2011, Isabel has been working at COD-CIIMAR developing research related with physical oceanography, atmosphere–ocean interaction, extreme events and climate change, particularly analyzing the hydrodynamical behavior and applying numerical models in oceanic, coastal, and estuarine regions; performing and analysing physical data obtained in sampling campaigns; and evaluating remote sensing data for numerical models calibration and validation.
