Prof. Evangelos Spyrakos is an Associate Professor of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Stirling. He holds a PhD in Applied Physics in the area of Earth observation, an MSc in Applied Physics in the area of radiative transfer processes, an MSc in Environmental Management, and a BSc in Marine Sciences. His research interests predominantly lie in the areas of light propagation and light–matter interaction in natural waters and the use of the near-ground, airborne, and satellite remote sensing (RS) of aquatic environments including lakes, estuaries, coastal zones, and open seas.
