Simone L. Marasso, PhD. His current position is Researcher at CNR-IMEM, and he is responsible for the research activities at the operative unit at the Politecnico di Torino. He received his master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2005. After obtaining his PhD in Electronic Devices in 2010, he conducted a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, and he worked in the Chilab, materials and microsystem laboratory of Politecnico di Torino, Chivasso (TO), Italy. Since 2018, he has been involved in the foundation of the Piemonte Quantum Enabling Technology LAB, in which he is contributing to the cleanroom design and set-up. His expertise in process implementation, gained in the laboratory research work, will allow him to define design and select better materials and solutions for the fabrication of sensors and their integration in the Organ on a Chip biosensing platform.
