Prof. Dr. Zhenjiang Zhou has been a
Professor at the Department of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science of
Zhejiang University since 2018. He received a B.S. from Southwest University in
2009, an M.S. from Northwest A&F University in 2012, and a PhD from Aarhus
University in 2016. His main research interests include exploring the effects
of climate, nitrogen fertilization, and irrigation on crop production and the
underlying mechanisms. Specifically, he investigates water and nitrogen
movement and balance in the soil–plant–atmosphere continuum with
state-of-the-art equipment (e.g., remote sensing) and crop growth modeling (e.g.,
FAO Aquacrop and Danish Daisy model).
