Katarzyna Dos Santos Szewczyk graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Medical University of Lublin. Since the beginning of her career, she has been associated with the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany (now the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Botany) at the Medical University of Lublin, where she currently works as a UM professor. She develops her scientific interests by collaborating and publishing studies on phytochemistry. Katarzyna is the author or co-author of more than 100 publications and conference reports. She is engaged in the optimization of conditions for the extraction and separation of polyphenols, as well as the study of the biological activity of plant extracts.
