Stefan Brock (IEEE Member since 2007) received a PhD degree in electrical engineering and a D.Sc. degree from the Poznan University of Technology (PUT), Poznan, Poland, in 1996 and 2014, respectively. Currently, he is a Professor at the Control, Robotic and Electrical Engineering Faculty, PUT. He is an author and co-author of over 100 scientific papers. His research interests include motion control systems, wherein robust linear and nonlinear methods are applied. Specifically, his works involve hybrid sliding mode control with methods of computational intelligence.
