The article is devoted to the problem of creating methodological foundations for research on the processes of machine use in agriculture. The basic approaches and principles of the formation of domain models are outlined, as the output processes of the functioning of the technological system of tillage and depth of cultivation are taken. A mathematical model of the process of depth of soil cultivation is proposed, which allows the implementation of research using modern software and hardware systems through a computer experiment.

The calculation of the actual working cycle processes allows to determine with satisfactory accuracy the value of the main parameters of the newly developed engine for any given conditions of its operation, to assess the impact of individual factors on the processes and the performance of the cycle as a whole. Thus establish character of change of pressure and temperature in each process, define the sizes of the engine, and also solve questions of increase of its reliability taking into account the received settlement thermal and dynamic loadings. Pre-intake begins at the time of opening the inlet and ends at the time of arrival of the piston in the TDC. The mixture or air does not enter the cylinder during preheating, as the volume of the cylinder decreases. However, the pre-opening of the intake valve allows you to create a sufficient cross-section to the beginning of the receipt of fresh charge in the cylinder and, therefore, leads to an improvement in the filling of the cylinders. In addition, due to the delay in closing the exhaust valve, the purge of the combustion chamber from residual gases is improved.

A synbiotic preparation based on two strains of B. licheniformis was developed to reduce the harmful effects of mycotoxins in postharvest products used for cattle feed. The genomes of these strains were sequenced to analyze their potential for producing bioactive secondary metabolites. An optimal substrate was selected from the variety of plant substrates, with soybeans being identified as the optimal choice. Based on the results of experiments conducted on experimental animals for a month, the introduction of a synbiotic preparation leveled the negative effect of mycotoxins on weight gain in heifer calves, bringing it to the level of the control groups. There was also a decrease in the level of alkaline phosphatase in serum to normal values, which may indicate the probiotic effects of the preparation, not associated with the elimination of the effect of mycotoxins. The activity of these strains against mycotoxins correlates with the presence of lactonase genes in their genomes. Antimicrobial and bioactive metabolites, such as lichenicidin and lichenisin synthesized by strains CL 33 and CL 56, also seem to contribute to the probiotic effect. The results of the study open up prospects for the creation of new synbiotic preparations to fight contamination with mycotoxins.

Insects are a valuable and renewable source of feed and food protein and fat. They have an amino acid composition similar to that of fishmeal and meat, and can serve as a worthy replacement for them. The aim of this study was to substantiate the technological parameters of the process of obtaining fat from the Hermetia illucens larvae by a mechanical method on a screw press. A laboratory screw press was used for this research. Before squeezing out the fat, the dried larvae were moistened, crushed and heated in a microwave oven to a temperature of 60 °C. The fat from the larvae was squeezed out in a screw press at different larval moisture levels, screw speeds and cake outlets. The results of this study made it possible to obtain optimal technological parameters for obtaining fat on a screw press: a screw rotation speed of no more than 20 ± 5 rpm; a diameter of the hole for the cake outlet of no more than 7–10 mm; a mass fraction of moisture in the pressed material of 8 ± 2%. The obtained fat fraction was tested for one of the main indicators of fat quality—acid number. It was found that the variable factors do not have a significant effect on the acid number of fat, changing it within the normal range of 10 mg KOH per 1 g of fat, which makes it possible to obtain a good quality product.

Currently, information technologies have been tightly integrated into agriculture. Since no computer calculations are possible without a powerful mathematical apparatus, the question arises about the possibility of modeling the processes occurring in agriculture with the help of modern achievements of science and technology. The present study is devoted to the existing methods of mathematical modeling in agriculture in relation to the applied aspects of agriculture. The aim of the research is to develop a critical approach to modern developments in the field of mathematical modeling and their place in agriculture. It is shown that the introduction of mathematical models based on modern scientific knowledge contributes to the optimization of agricultural processes and increasing the efficiency of any farm. Based on statistical studies, it is shown that among all branches of agriculture, mathematical methods are most often used in economic calculations, least of all, in calculations related to farm modeling. This is explained both by the complexity of modeling all processes occurring within a single farm, and by the loss of accuracy, which increases with the complexity of the system model.

This article is devoted to the further development of a viable technology for low-temperature cryopreservation of reproductive cells of sturgeon fish using acoustic–mechanical fields and intelligent control of the freezing process. Before vitrification begins, the piezoactuator acts on a mixture of cryoprotectant and reproductive cells. This promotes intensive mixing of the cryoprotector and its diffusion through the cell membrane. When vitrification is carried out directly, a phase transition phenomenon is observed, accompanied by crystal formation. This article presents a new mathematical model describing this process as developed by the authors. The corresponding boundary conditions are formulated. Numerical experiments were carried out using the finite element method. It has been established that during vitrification without the use of a cryoprotectant, a sharp temperature jump is observed at the front of the crystalline formation boundary. The use of a cryoprotectant leads to a slowdown in the process of crystal formation, that is, to a weakening of the effect of one of the most important cryoprotective factors. The comparison with full-scale experiments showed qualitative agreement with the experimental results, which indicates the adequacy of the proposed model. The results obtained can be used in the future during the vitrification process and the evaluation of the quality of cryofreezing. The application of a new methodological approach to methods of long-term preservation at low temperatures of the genetic and reproductive material of hydrobionts using acoustic and mechanical effects and an intelligent control module opens up great opportunities for the creation of new cost-effective biotechnologies that make it possible to make the transition to a new type of aquatic farms, increase the stability of aquaculture, in general, to make environmental protection measures to save rare and endangered species more effective.
