Prof. Penelope Bebeli

Prof. Dr. Penelope J. Bebeli is affiliated with the Laboratory of Plant Breeding and Biometry, Department of Crop Science, Agricultural University of Athens in Athens, Greece. She is the Guest Editor of the Special Issue “Genetic Identification, Exploration, Evaluation and Breeding of Plant Genetic Resources” in MDPI. Her research interests mainly focus on plant genetic resources; crop landraces; crop wild relatives; plant breeding; gene banks; genetic and phenotypic diversity; and experimental design in agriculture. Her scientific output includes 73 publications in various journals with an h-index of 21 (Scopus, January 2024).
