Social media community detection is a fundamental challenge in social data analytics, in order to understand user relationships and improve social recommendations. Although the problem has been extensively investigated, the majority of research has been based on social networks with static structures. Our findings within large social networks, such as Twitter, show that only a few users have interactions or communications at fixed time intervals. Finding active communities that demonstrate constant interactions between its members comprises a reasonable perspective. Communities examined from this perspective will provide time-variant social relationships, which may greatly improve the applicability of social data analytics. In this paper, we address the problem of temporal interaction-biased community detection using a four-step process. First, we develop a partition approach using an objective function based on clique structure, to enhance the time efficiency of our methodology. Second, we develop an influence propagation model that gives greatest weight to active edges or to inactive edges in close proximity to active edges. Third, we develop expansion-driven algorithms to efficiently find the activity-biased densest community. Finally, we verify the effectiveness of the extended community metric and the efficiency of the algorithms using three real data sets and a case study conducted on Twitter dynamic data set.

Environmental perception is one of the key technologies to realize autonomous vehicles. The fault diagnosis process involves identifying the fault that occurred or the cause of the out-of-control condition. Here, the major objective is to locate problems in detection by analysing previous data or sequential patterns of data that cause failure. This study evaluates the use of deep learning for improved sensor data fusion in fault identification and tolerance using the KITTI dataset. The input video from the dataset has been transformed to frames through median filtering. Next, feature extraction is applied to a preprocessed image, resulting in the fusion of sensor data. Data fusion is then carried out utilizing an enhanced RPN (region proposal network). The enhanced RPN also has a loss function (object detection loss, bounding box loss and target classification loss), an estimate of ROI and feature extraction network (FEN). Through the use of the COOT connected blue monkey optimization (CCBMO) model, the weight of the optimally enhanced RPN is established. Next, using global non-maximum suppression with both global and local confidence, fault identification and tolerance are carried out. From the analysis, it clearly shows that proposed method accomplished better results in terms of accuracy, precision and specificity of 97.78%, 93.76% and 93.43%, respectively, when compared with various conventional models with respect to diverse performance measures.

The rapid expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) has significantly improved the various aspects of our daily life. However, along with its benefits, new security threats such as Denial of Service (DoS) attacks and Botnets have emerged. To adopt this technology and integrity of IoT environment, detection of such attacks become crucial. This paper proposes a hybrid deep learning model that combines Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Gated Recurrent Units (GRUs) to classify the IoT security threats. The CNN is used to extract the spatial features from the network data, where on the other hand GRUs used for capturing the temporal dependencies. This combination makes the model effective at analysing both static and dynamic aspects of network data. Further, to optimize the performance of the proposed hybrid model, self-upgraded Cat and Mouse Optimization (SUCMO) algorithm is employed, a state of art optimization technique. The SUCMO algorithm fine-tunes the deep learning model’s hyperparameters to improve classification accuracy. The proposed model is evaluated through experiments on two different datasets i.e., UNSW-NB15 and BoT-IoT, and results demonstrates that proposed work outperforms the traditional work as well as state of the art works.
In many locations, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests are used to identify COVID-19. It could take more than 48 h. It is a key factor in its seriousness and quick spread. Images from chest X-rays are utilized to diagnose COVID-19. Which generally deals with the issue of imbalanced classification. The purpose of this paper is to improve CNN’s capacity to display Chest X-ray pictures when there is a class imbalance. CNN Training has come to an end while chastening the classes for using more examples. Additionally, the training data set uses data augmentation. The achievement of the suggested method is assessed on an image’s two data sets of chest X-rays. The suggested model’s efficiency was analyzed using criteria like accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, and F1 score. The suggested method attained an accuracy of 94% worst, 97% average, and 100% best cases, respectively, and an F1-score of 96% worst, 98% average and 100% best cases, respectively.
