Face Recognition (FR) is the technology used to identify and verify individuals based on their facial features. In recent decades, FR plays a crucial role in various sectors including security, healthcare, banking, and criminal identification. For effective FR, numerous techniques are currently under development which range from appearance to hybrid approaches. Most of the existing methods offer diverse solutions to describe a face image either by focusing on specific facial features or by considering the entire face. This study explores a various range of such techniques and challenges related to FR. The existing solutions were analysed with respect to various perspectives of inputs, viz., illumination, pose variation, facial expressions, occlusions, and aging which led to the prominent implementation of FR systems. The primary contribution of this survey lies in the comprehensive review of state-of-the-art FR techniques and deriving the taxonomy of categorizing these methods into various classes which range from appearance to hybrid approaches. Moreover, the proposed detailed study highlights the significant features used by the most recent research developed in FR, also, provide a detailed classification of image and video-based FR methods, highlighting major advancements and core processing steps for handling huge volume of datasets. Moreover, the proposed study outlines the current trends in available datasets and emphasizing their enhancements. This survey also aims to provide a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners by offering insights into the latest developments and identifying open problems that require further investigation.

Effective research has been aimed at increasing the distributed compute dependent Software Define Network (SDN) with high-level Intelligent - Internet of Things (I-IoT). Wireless sensor networks come with a set of resource restrictions. Still, only a few functions are often configured such as energy restraint and the concerted demands that are vital for IoT application routing performance. A major technique for solving the expansion of network scalability by applying Mobile Sink (MS). The construction of data transmission optimal path, the detection of an optimal set data-gathering points $O_{DG} $ and MS scheduled with dynamic networks for energy-efficient techniques, that the network’s lifetime in enormous complications, principally in large-scale IoT networks. The research work proposes an Research Objective: i) Develop an energy-efficient routing technique for large-scale I-IoT networks within a cloud-based SDN system. ii) Optimize network scalability, lower-level routing, and load balancing using Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC). The prime aim of cloud-based SDN with AI is to determine: a lower level routing in the perception layer, a load-balanced Cluster Table (CT), an optimal $O_{DG} $ points, and MS optimal paths $O_{MSpath} $ . The main contribution of proposed routing is i) Energy Minimization (EM): The proposed routing minimizes energy dissemination by the Cluster Head (CH) in critical conditions (EM-CH). ii) Enhanced Energy Balance (EEB): The EC-based SDN, considering both Optimal Data-Gathering ( $O_{DG}$ ) and Mobile Sink (MS) advancements, achieves enhanced energy balance during network routing (EEB-SDN). Research results validate the proposed model stability that improves the network lifetime up to 63%, the energy usage in the network is reduced up to 78%, the high volume data loaded to the MS up to 95%, and the delay of the $O_{MSpath} $ by 69% when compared with various model.

The proposed article put forward a new scheme for image reclamation using second phase discrete symlet transform for medical images. The current medical image reclamation approaches have limitations in providing accurate reclamation fallouts with high visual insight and low computational complexity. To address these issues, this model presents a methodology for creating a medical image database using Image Reclamation using DT-CWT and EPS filter suited for the Resolution Enhancement of query chest image sample well utilized to get better retrieval rate where DWT algorithm is utilized for feature extraction of query input images. Flat and perpendicular prognoses of summation of pixels are analyzed to extract BC quantities, which are then used to compute the matching score of similarity for the images present in the database. The system selects the samples that are most pertinent to the given query sample image based on the matching score. The system’s untrained database is used to obtain the photographs with the highest BC value. The projected method aims to improve the enhancement of sampled image by DT-CWT EPS algorithm to leads to increase the accuracy and efficiency of medical image reclamation for various research applications.

Environmental perception is one of the key technologies to realize autonomous vehicles. The fault diagnosis process involves identifying the fault that occurred or the cause of the out-of-control condition. Here, the major objective is to locate problems in detection by analysing previous data or sequential patterns of data that cause failure. This study evaluates the use of deep learning for improved sensor data fusion in fault identification and tolerance using the KITTI dataset. The input video from the dataset has been transformed to frames through median filtering. Next, feature extraction is applied to a preprocessed image, resulting in the fusion of sensor data. Data fusion is then carried out utilizing an enhanced RPN (region proposal network). The enhanced RPN also has a loss function (object detection loss, bounding box loss and target classification loss), an estimate of ROI and feature extraction network (FEN). Through the use of the COOT connected blue monkey optimization (CCBMO) model, the weight of the optimally enhanced RPN is established. Next, using global non-maximum suppression with both global and local confidence, fault identification and tolerance are carried out. From the analysis, it clearly shows that proposed method accomplished better results in terms of accuracy, precision and specificity of 97.78%, 93.76% and 93.43%, respectively, when compared with various conventional models with respect to diverse performance measures.
