José Luis Calvo-Rolle received M.S. and
Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Leon, Leon, Spain, in
2004 and 2007, respectively. He is a Full Professor of Automatic Control, the
coordinator of the research group Cybernetics Science and Technique, and the
head of the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering,
University of A Coruña, Spain. His main research interests have been focused on
applying intelligent systems for control engineering, optimization, modeling,
fault detection, and education.
