Prof. Beata Gutarowska works at the Lodz University of Technology, Department of Environmental Biotechnology, Poland. She is an expert in applied microbiology, especially the examination of the biodeterioration of technical materials, mainly textiles, paper, and building materials, as well as the application of new disinfection methods. She cooperated with industrial companies and with research institutes in the following research fields: 1. Protection of technical materials against biodeterioration; 2. Microbial contamination of the air at industrial sites and their removal; 3. Microbial biopreparation for the environment. Her research output includes a total of 6 monographs, 18 monograph chapters, 120 articles published in journals, h index =21, and the sum of times cited 1280 (WoS).
