The goal of this paper is to develop an optimal statistical model to analyze COVID‐19 data in order to model and analyze the COVID‐19 mortality rates in Somalia. Combining the log‐logistic distribution and the tangent function yields the flexible extension log‐logistic tangent (LLT) distribution, a new two‐parameter distribution. This new distribution has a number of excellent statistical and mathematical properties, including a simple failure rate function, reliability function, and cumulative distribution function. Maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) is used to estimate the unknown parameters of the proposed distribution. A numerical and visual result of the Monte Carlo simulation is obtained to evaluate the use of the MLE method. In addition, the LLT model is compared to the well‐known two‐parameter, three‐parameter, and four‐parameter competitors. Gompertz, log‐logistic, kappa, exponentiated log‐logistic, Marshall–Olkin log‐logistic, Kumaraswamy log‐logistic, and beta log‐logistic are among the competing models. Different goodness‐of‐fit measures are used to determine whether the LLT distribution is more useful than the competing models in COVID‐19 data of mortality rate analysis.
The Poisson Inverted Shifted Gompertz distribution is a new type of distribution that comes from the Poisson-generating family of distributions and is based on the "inverted shifted Gompertz distribution." This distribution has significant statistical characteristics, with clear formulations obtained mathematically. We use three distinct approaches to estimate the parameters of the distribution: maximum likelihood estimation (MLE), least-squares estimation (LSE), and Cramer-Von-Mises estimation (CVME). We undertake a simulation experiment to thoroughly assess the efficacy of maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). Empirical data from engineering and medical fields demonstrate the relevance of our suggested model. We meticulously evaluate the goodness-of-fit of the Poisson Inverted Shifted Gompertz distribution using several statistical tests and graphical techniques. Our suggested distribution demonstrates enhanced fitting capabilities and more flexibility compared to many widely used lifespan distributions. Furthermore, we investigate the Bayesian viewpoint of the proposed model by using Hamiltonian Monte Carlo (HMC) simulation methods. This detailed study gives you a full picture of how the Poisson Inverted Shifted Gompertz distribution can be used in many different areas.

Computer technology plays a prominent role in almost every aspect of daily life including education, health care, online shopping, advertising, and even in homes. Computers help to make daily tasks much easier and convenient. Among social media, YouTube is a well‐known social sharing networking service. As more and more people join social media and become everyday users, brands have also increased their online engagement. However, it is still unclear how to effectively measure value and return on advertising using social media. As of 2021, more than 31 million YouTube channels around the globe have been opened. In this paper, we consider YouTube advertising to check its effectiveness and benefits gained. Certain statistical tools are adopted to measure the extent of advertising benefits and their correlation in creating effective advertising campaigns on YouTube. Simple linear regression analysis is performed on the data representing the YouTube advertising budget of a company and the sales data of that company. Furthermore, we develop a new statistical distribution to provide the best description of the YouTube advertising data. The result of this research shows that YouTube is an effective medium for advertising and has a strong relationship with sales.

In the field of life testing, it is very important to study the reliability of any component under testing. One of the most important subjects is the “stress‐strength reliability” term which always refers to the quantity P (X > Y) in any statistical literature. It resamples a system with random strength (X) that is subjected to a random strength (Y) such that a system fails in case the stress exceeds the strength. In this study, we consider stress‐strength reliability where the strength (X) follows Rayleigh‐half‐normal distribution and stress (Y1, Y2, Y3, and Y4) follows Rayleigh‐half‐normal distribution, exponential distribution, Rayleigh distribution, and half‐normal distribution, respectively. This effort comprises determining the general formulations of the reliabilities of a system. Also, the maximum likelihood estimation approach and method of moment (MOM) will be utilized to estimate the parameters. Finally, reliability has been attained utilizing various values of stress and strength parameters.
A pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID‐19) is causing an unprecedented situation for the world’s health services. Health, local communities, and government are adversely affected by the COVID‐19 pandemic. Moreover, on January 21, 2020, the WHO Emergency Committee declared a global health emergency because of increasing numbers of COVID‐19 case notifications from countries overseas. While the pandemic caused grave damage to socioeconomic phenomena and multiple global phenomena such as commodity prices, remittances, trade, tourism, significant job loss, and drastically lower wages, the pandemic has also negatively affected multiple global phenomena. The advent of technology has spurred significant changes in many aspects of our lives and improved the exchange of information, the presentation of data, and the management of medical resources through telemedicine. In this article, we present a mathematical data visualization approach for analyzing pandemic data behaviors, such as exponential growth and deviations using the data related to COVID‐19 events. Furthermore, this article will include studies on the implications of the COVID‐19 pandemic on finance sector.
