Prof. Dr. Chu-Lin Cheng is an Associate Professor at the School of Earth, Environmental, and Marine Sciences and the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering at Iowa State University in 2009. His research interests are fluid flow and contaminant transport in saturated and unsaturated porous media (natural / engineered environmental systems) over scale: Water-Energy-Food nexus. His research covers water quantity & quality (water availability, water supply, water security) under changing climates. Topics include and not limit to groundwater/vadose zone hydrology, contaminant fate and transport, groundwater modeling, geo-hydro-informatics, groundwater and surface water interactions, and applications of non-destructive testing (NDT). Visit his website for complete list of research projects and publications.
