HATEM F. SINDI (Member, IEEE) received
the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from
King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,
in 2007, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, King Abdulaziz University. His research interests include smart grids, renewable DG, distribution system planning, electric vehicles, storage systems, and bulk power
system reliability.
