Dr. Artur Janowski

Prof. Artur Janowski is an Associate Professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn & Department of Geodesy Gdansk University of Technology. He received his PhD degree in 2003 and habilitation in 2018. The main areas of his activity are processing images (computer vision) and data from laser scanning. Prof. Artur Janowski is a member of the Poland Geodetic Association (since 1997) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is also an expert in deriving numerical algorithms for processing observational sets. His knowledge of geoinformatics helps implement dedicated applications for Windows, Linux, and Android platforms. Prof. Artur Janowski's most important achievements include authorship of over 60 original works published in scientific journals. He is the author of several dozen implementations of innovative solutions as part of wide cooperation with the business environment.
