Genki Yoshikawa received his Ph.D. in science from The University of Tokyo in 2004. He was Assistant Professor at the Institute for Materials Research (IMR), Tohoku University, Japan (2005–2008), Visiting Scientist at Department of Physics, University of Basel, Switzerland (2007–2009), ICYS-MANA Researcher (2009–2011), and Independent Scientist (2011–2016). He is currently anGroup Leader (2016–present) at NIMS, Japan. Since 2022, he is also Professor at the Joint Graduate School, University of Tsukuba. His research interests are focused on the development of practical olfactory sensors.
