Prof. Dr. Yalin Zheng is a professor of AI in healthcare at the Department of Eye and Vision Science, Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences, University of Liverpool. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southampton in 2003 and served as a research fellow at King's College London (2002–2004) and then as an industry researcher at Medicsight PLC (2004–2008) prior to joining the University of Liverpool in 2008. He is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and the Ophthalmology and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
