The article presents the results of research on the total reaction time of drivers in real traffic conditions. The tested driver had to react to a complex signal by performing a braking manoeuvre. The measurements were based on the author’s method combining the measurements of reaction time during the actual driving with their computer analysis. The research group consisted of 15 drivers with different seniority of driving licences. The study measured the time of perception and the time of leg transfer from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal. The results were subjected to analysis and on its basis conclusions were formulated.
The publication refers to the issue of vehicles moving on express roads and motorways. Legal conditionings were indicated that regulated the principles for vehicles that move on express roads and motorways. We quoted examples of road events that happened with the participation of various vehicles and in different circumstances that ended up with serious consequences. The final conclusions emphasize the causes of the analyzed road events on fast traffic roads and motorways.
Pneumatic suspension is increasingly used in many cars. Control of a car body level is the main function of the pneumatic suspension. The experimental determination of the pneumatic spring characteristics suitable for the design and modeling of the car level control system is presented. The...

The paper presents a methodical approach to the study of the dissipative function of the tribosystem. The significant parameters of the friction process are determined and the dependences of the stress on the actual contact spots, the rate of deformation of the materials of the friction surfaces,...
The article deals with the issue of road safety and the threats caused by unexpected maneuvers of passenger cars pulling into the opposite lane, directly in front of an oncoming two-wheeler. The first part discusses the legal regulations that apply to vehicle drivers. In the second part, road accidents are presented, while in the next part, examples of road accidents are analyzed in terms of their causes. The article deals with the causes of road accidents. The tragic consequences of the analyzed accidents require this problem to be addressed in research. This is especially true of the question of why car drivers usually notice only an oncoming car and not a two-wheeled vehicle?
The article examines traffic safety and incidents involving children and underage drivers. It discusses legal regulations for pedestrians, underage drivers, and vehicle operators, highlighting the causes and consequences of accidents involving minors on single-track vehicles. Four examples of such accidents are analyzed, with photographs provided for evidence. The analysis focuses on identifying causes and exploring prevention strategies. The findings suggest the need for measures to enhance road safety, particularly for young users, and emphasize the importance of further research to address the tragic outcomes of these incidents.
