Ruiyang Zhang is an Associate Professor at the School of Civil and Resource Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing Engineering at Northeastern University in 2009, and earned his Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Mineral Processing Engineering at Northeastern University in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Civil and Resource Engineering, University of Science and Technology, Beijing (2017–2019), and became an Associate Professor in 2022. His research focuses on microbiological techniques of resources and environment, separation technology of mineral resource, treatment and utilization of mining wastewater, and purification of non-metallic minerals.
