In this paper we describe the main results of the development and optimization of the multi-motor asynchronous electric drive of carding devices. The synchronous rotation of asynchronous motors is developed by the improvement of the “electric working shaft” system with the use of thyristor converters, frequency converters, double-feed machines. In this case, the synchronous rotation of the drive motors is supported by maintaining the power circuit and connecting the rotor circuits to a three-phase resistance. In this article we consider the synchronization of asynchronous motors in the “EWS” system (electric working shaft) facilitating the synchronous start-up of the engines of the carding machines and their synchronous braking, excluding the preliminary synchronization, as well as synchronous start-up. The equations of the moments of a multi-motor asynchronous electric drive of coordinated rotation for the unbalanced feeding of their motors, consisting of the moments of the engines with forward and reverse directions of rotation of the magnetic field are given. In subsequent developments with MAED microprocessor control, asynchronous motors with a phase rotor are used instead of asynchronous motors with a short-circuited rotor, and synchronous rotation of the drive motors is solved by using frequency converters controlled from industrial microcontrollers. For further optimization of the electric drive of the carding machine, the principles of the double-feed machines were applied. In this case, the MAED carding device is controlled from the rotor side by frequency converters with and without maintaining the power connection of the rotor circuits. At the same time, the necessary power of frequency converters for controlling the electric drive of the carding machines is reduced by 2-2.5 times.

More than 60 % of electric energy in industry and agriculture is consumed by an electric drive. In a number of production mechanisms, machines and aggregates of various industries, synchronous rotation of several electric motors connected to each other mechanically, electrically or technologically is needed. This requires the use of more complex methods of controlling electromechanical systems, since two or more electric motors must work in concert for one load, which, in turn, entails the use of a new element base, power and control, allowing to implement these technological cycles of work. The object of research is a three-motor electromechanical system interconnected and operating according to the “electric working shaft” (EWS) system. The main fundamental difference from earlier works is that they consider a system of coordinated rotation of only two asynchronous motors, respectively, only one misalignment angle between two asynchronous motors was taken into account. At the same time, the conclusions of the moments and currents of the motors were significantly simplified. In the proposed study, the number of consistently (synchronously) rotating motors from three and above is taken into consideration. In this case, the number of misalignment angles is assumed to be equal to the number of engines, that is, three involved in rotation. The analytical expressions of the basic electromechanical relations of the “electric working shaft” system with the regulation of the supply voltage are developed. A method is proposed for calculating the statistical characteristics of the regulated EWS system, which is easy to use and allows calculations in a wide range of rotor misalignment angles at various engine loads
This article considers the technological and climatic features of oil production in the Mangistau region. The supplied electric drives of the pumping units and their remote controls are not designed for the climatic conditions of Western Kazakhstan according to the technical specifications. Imported intelligent remote controls fall into disrepair after a couple of years. In this article the authors drew their conclusions and determined the main requirements for electric drives of the Western Kazakhstan oilfield by analyzing the state of development of electric drives of the pumping units supplied from different countries. As well as the structural and virtual diagram of the electric drive of the pumping units according to the frequency converter - asynchronous motors system, the synthesis of parameters and the stability of which is solved by the method of nonlinear correction, allowing to conduct research in wide variations of the control parameters of the “frequency converter - asynchronous motors system”.
Since the creation of the first parallel electrical power systems around the world, the rotor angle stability of synchronously operating generators has been one of the most crucial and challenging problems. In modern electricity networks, including in Kazakhstan, where renewable energy technologies are rapidly emerging, the issue of stability takes on even greater importance due to the technical shortcomings of inverter-based generation. In this framework, an analysis of rotor angle transient stability was carried out when replacing existing synchronous generators with doubly fed induction generators under a certain pre-emergency mode. A critical proportion of active power generation by DFIG units was identified at which transient stability can still be maintained due to the sufficient stored kinetic energy of the synchronous machines remaining in operation. In addition, two simple solutions were investigated to improve transient stability, such as an increased time of the automatic reclosure operation and the use of special load-shedding automation. Finally, this paper proposes a novel type of flexible smart-grid automation that is capable of monitoring the main operating parameters and issuing control actions depending on inertia, the availability of wind resources, and the load of the system as a whole. For this analysis, a real power system from the Mangystau region in Kazakhstan was considered, and the PowerWorld software 23 was used.
The article deals with issues related to the development of the electric drive of electric transports, the development and prospects for the production of electric transports in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Highlights their main advantages and disadvantages. The existing scheme of electric transport electric drive on direct current with relay-contactor control is described. According to the technical and economic indicators, the DC (direct current) electric drive is much inferior to the AC (alternating current) drive. The development of power electronics and microprocessor technology allows you to create a highly efficient drive of electric vehicles with electric motors both DC and AC.The perspective types of the electric drive in relation to the power unit of electric transport for the Kazakhstan producer are described. The development of the electric drive of electric transport is directly connected with the development of modern automated electric drive, power electronics, improvement of electrical machines and microprocessor technology. The integration of the achievements of these three directions and the development of highly efficient electric drives are an excellent prerequisite for the production of some types of Kazakhstan electric transports. The authors of this article are working on the development of an electric drive for electric transport with the use of asynchronous electric motors and synchronous electric motors with a permanent magnet, which have great torques compared to a conventional synchronous motor, which is an originality of the project in comparison with other analogues. Modern traction synchronous motors with a permanent magnet are characterized by a high density of magnetic flux in the air gap and small moment pulsations in the entire speed control range. Such an electric drive has a good power factor and compact design. This will reduce the required power of the electric drive and batteries, as well as significantly reduce the mass-dimensions and the price of the designed electric transport.Electrical transport on the sum of technical and economic indicators already now demonstrates a higher efficiency in comparison with the internal combustion engine transports. Electric transport is much more economical in energy consumption, it itself breaks less frequently, it contains much fewer details, the maintenance is very simple and cheap. All these advantages of electric transport make it very promising with the possible massive introduction of electric transport in the life of the country’s population, especially in Almaty, in the country’s large mining and metallurgical industries.
