Rocio Becerril Piña is a member of the Lerma Network at the Inter-American Institute of Water Sciences and Technology (IITCA) of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex). She holds a bachelor's degree in biology, a master's degree in integrated watershed management, and a Ph.D. in Water Sciences, awarded in 2015. Her research focuses on evaluating and monitoring socio-environmental dynamics using remote sensing.
