Miguel Angel Gomez Albores is a researcher at the Inter-American Institute of Water Sciences and Technology (IITCA) of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex). Since 2009, he has coordinated the Mexico IDRISI Resource Center of Clark Labs at Clark University. He holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in Water Sciences, awarded in 2005 and 2012, respectively. He has the following research specialties: water sciences; geographic sciences with a special focus on human health impact, and the availability and quality of water.
