Suowen Xu, Ph.D., Professor of Pharmacology. Dr. Xu obtained his Ph.D. (2011) in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China). Between 08/2011 and 01/2014, Dr. Xu was a visiting fellow at National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI)/National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. Following that, Dr. Xu worked at the University of Rochester as a postdoctoral fellow and research assistant professor. He is currently working at the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interest includes molecular mechanisms of atherosclerosis and experimental therapeutics.
