Katerina D. Tzimourta is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Biomedical Technology and Digital Health, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Macedonia, Greece. She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Physics (2020) from the School of Medicine, University of Ioannina, and an M.Eng. in Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering. Her research focuses on biosignal processing, with an emphasis on EEG analysis, machine learning applications in healthcare, and Brain–Computer Interfaces. She has contributed to numerous national and international research projects and has authored over 40 scientific publications, accumulating more than 1,000 citations (Google Scholar). In parallel, she maintains a strong personal interest in rare neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly Kleefstra Syndrome.

Katerina D.
