Abdul Halim Abdullah received B.Sc. (Edu.) and M.Sc. (Edu.) degrees in mathematics education from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a Ph.D. in mathematics education from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He has worked with the School of Education, UTM, since 2006. He was also involved as a researcher in a collaborative IRU-MRUN research project between the Malaysian Research Universities and the Australian Innovative Research Universities. His research interests include geometry thinking, higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in mathematics, and technology-aided teaching and learning in mathematics. To date, he has received ten research grants as a principal investigator, including one from Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), and 20 grants as a co-investigator.
