The objective of this research is to estimate the labor impact of the National Program of direct support to the poorest JUNTOS in Peru for the year 2021. The methodology used is the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) through the nearest neighbor method; the database of the National Household Survey ENAHO 2021 is used as a source of information. The results of the logit model indicate that poverty, unsatisfied basic needs and education do influence the probability of participation in the Juntos Social Program and are statistically significant at a 1% level; the expected signs of the coefficients of the logit model are correct. On the other hand, the effect of the Juntos Social Program on the length of the working day is negative for the year 2021; it is found that the value of the average treatment effect in the treated population (ATT) is -1.167, which is highly significant at a 1% level. This indicates that participation in the Juntos Social Program is associated with an average reduction of 1.167 hours per week in working hours. This suggests that the economic transfer provided by the program is not sufficient to replace the workday, which implies that beneficiaries must continue to participate in the labor field.
In the Samán District Municipality, inefficient administrative management was identified, as evidenced by user complaints about poor service. The objective was to analyze the relationship between administrative management and service quality in 2022. A quantitative methodology and a non-experimental-transversal design were used to observe the phenomena at a specific time. The total population consisted of 9642 inhabitants of the Samán district and stratified probability sampling was used, resulting in a sample of 189 inhabitants of the Samán district. Of this sample, surveys were conducted in six population centers, including Muni Grande (15 users), Jasana Grande (23), Chucaripo (58), Quejón Mocco (37), San Juan de Chacamarca (29) and the town of Samán (27). Data were collected through surveys using two structured questionnaires based on a Likert rating scale. Data were collected by means of two structured questionnaires based on a Likert scale. Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS statistical software were used for data analysis, and Sperman's Rho statistic was used to determine the relationship of the variables. The results indicate a significant mean positive correlation of 0.629 between the study variables. In conclusion, there is a positive relationship of medium magnitude between administrative management efficiency and service quality. The evidence supports the idea that efforts are being made to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in administrative processes to provide quality service.
The objective of the research is to obtain the economic benefits of drinking water projects using the parametric logit model, from an Invierte.pe perspective. The methodology applied was the parametric contingent valuation model using the Logit model to estimate the willingness to pay (WTP), information was collected through the application of surveys to project users on their willingness or unwillingness to pay an amount of money for improvement of the drinking water supply service. The result was a WTP of 4.27 soles and economic benefits of the project for the first year of 314,511.00 soles and for the twentieth year of 370,080.00 soles. In conclusion, it is possible to incorporate in Invierte.pe the parametric logit model in the estimation of economic benefits of drinking water projects.
