Economic science provides a rich methodological toolkit for sustainable development combined with the principles of the circular economy and green marketing. The practical adaptation of a set of assessment tools helped the realisation of the goal of this study in the form of the systematisation of interaction factors between economic growth and environmental branding of industrial companies in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Descriptive models were used to assess the economic and technological state of enterprises and to analyse the effectiveness of capital investments for the implementation of green technology projects and social environmental investments. In the course of research of the population’s requests to manufacturers of industrial products, it was found out that the requirements to the environmental characteristics of finished products have increased, and the price of ecological products is of concern. Producers and end consumers can be brought closer together through eco-branding, creation of special platforms for green integration participants. To unlock the reserves of economic growth, it is proposed that green investment flows with the participation of industrial capital should be intensified in order to increase investments in the eco-cultural transformation of eco-consumers of the new generation.

The purpose of this scientific article is to identify modern trends in the formation of the economic and organizational foundations for the development of the digital economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to identify the main problems in these areas and ways to solve them. The main initial data for writing a scientific article were official statistical information in the field of development of communications and information and telecommunication technologies, scientific periodicals, including the near and far abroad, practical data of entrepreneurial structures directly leading production and economic activities in the digital and computer technology. The hypothesis of scientific research is the need to form the institutional foundations for building a digital economy, focused on the implementation of infrastructural development of digitalization processes at the macro and micro levels. The institutional framework affects both the public sector and the business entrepreneurship sector. In the strategic period for the development of the digital economy, indicative programs for business structures, as well as organizational scenarios for the state, should be developed. The main methods of scientific research were analytical and synthetic, statistical, computational, and analytical research methods, the method of hypotheses. As the results of the study, attention was focused on the dynamics of the contribution of digitalization processes to the economic growth of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the main economic problems that hinder the intensification of the development of the digital economy were identified. The main scientific contribution of the study is focused on the priorities for solving the problems of digitalization of the economy within the strategic and long-term periods, including micro- and macroeconomic levels.

The purpose of the study is focused on finding optimal and effective organizational and economic mechanisms for integrating the intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. The introduction of sustainable development tools and the transition to models for achieving the SDGs in the field of education, science and technology is considered by the authors as a strategic priority for the integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. Intellectual potential is the fundamental basis for the innovative development of business entrepreneurship. The subject of the research is the intellectual potential of economic systems and its relationship with innovative development. The object of the research is the countries with developing economies — Kazakhstan, Russia. The methodology was based on the use of the following general scientific and special research methods: analysis and synthesis, the dialectical approach, the statistical method of data analysis, the method for establishing patterns and hypotheses, the method of aggregated analytical calculation. Within the framework of the results of the research: the creation and development of corporate-type universities; creation and development of regional and interregional centers of competence; creation and development of centers of business initiatives; scientific and educational consortia.

The article examines the current state and economic trends in the functioning of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan. The object of the research is the economy of the Pavlodar region. The subject of the research is the tourism industry and strategic investments in its development. In the course of the study, special attention was focused on the dynamics of the nominal and real contribution of the tourism industry to the regional economy, the territorial distribution of tourism services and their structure, trends in employment and labor productivity, the production capacity of tourism organizations and the state of their fixed capital. When assessing the real contribution of the tourism industry to the development of the economy of the Pavlodar region, the dynamics of demand for tourist services from individuals and legal entities was investigated. For the development of the tourism industry, an integrated analytical assessment of strategic investments was carried out on the basis of forecasting the gross regional product and its growth rates, the share of tourism in the region’s economy, the dynamics of the volume of tourism services, and the return on assets of tourism organizations. Strategic investments in the development of the tourism industry are diversified in two priorities — fixed assets and human resources, including business processes. Implementation of the developed investment policy makes it possible to significantly increase the volume of tourism services in the region, triple labor productivity in the tourism industry, and strengthen the positive trends in the contribution of the tourism industry to the regional economy. The research carried out has a practice-oriented character. The research results will be used in the system of activities of the Regional Department of Tourism and Sports.

Современное экономическое состояние туристской отрасли Павлодарской области и оценка стратегических инвестиций в ее развитие

В условиях глобализации и растущего внимания к вопросам устойчивого развития, многие страны, включая Казахстан, стремятся интегрировать принципы ESG в свои экономические стратегии. Это позволяет привлекать инвестиции и улучшать имидж на международной арене. В данной статье рассматривается внедрение принципов экологической, социальной и корпоративной ответственности (ESG) в бизнес-модели промышленных организаций. Автор анализирует текущее состояние и тенденции развития ESG-подходов в Казахстане, акцентируя внимание на их значении для устойчивого развития экономики страны. В статье представлены примеры успешных практик, демонстрирующих, как компании могут интегрировать ESG-принципы в свою стратегию и операционные процессы. Также обсуждаются вызовы и барьеры, с которыми сталкиваются предприятия при реализации этих подходов, включая недостаток информации, ограниченные ресурсы и необходимость изменения корпоративной культуры. В заключение подчеркивается важность государственной поддержки и создания благоприятной среды для внедрения ESG-инициатив, что позволит не только повысить конкурентоспособность промышленных предприятий, но и способствовать социальному прогрессу и охране окружающей среды в Казахстане. Статья является актуальным вкладом в изучение устойчивого бизнеса в условиях современных экономических реалий.
