The end goal of technological advancement used in crisis response and recovery is to prevent, reduce or mitigate the impact of a crisis, thereby enhancing sustainable recovery. Advanced technological approaches such as social media, machine learning (ML), social network analysis (SNA), and big data are vital to a sustainable crisis management decisions and communication. This study selects 28 articles via a systematic process that focuses on ML, SNA, and related technological tools to understand how these tools are shaping crisis management and decision making. The analysis shows the significance of these tools in advancing sustainable crisis management to support decision making, information management, communication, collaboration and cooperation, location-based services, community resilience, situational awareness, and social position. Moreover, the findings noted that managing diverse outreach information and communication is increasingly essential. In addition, the study indicates why big data and language, cross-platform support, and dataset lacking are emerging concerns for sustainable crisis management. Finally, the study contributes to how advanced technological solutions effectively affect crisis response, communication, decision making, and overall crisis management.

The significance of big data analytics (BDA) has benefited the health sector by leveraging the potential insights and capabilities of big data in decision making. However, every implementation of BDA within the healthcare field faces difficulties due to incomplete or flawed information that necessitates attention and resolution. The purpose of this systematic literature review is to accomplish two main objectives. Firstly, it aims to synthesize the various elements that contribute to imperfect information in BDA and their impact on decision-making processes within the healthcare sector. This involves identifying and analyzing the factors that can result in imperfect information in BDA applications. Secondly, the review intends to create a taxonomy specifically focused on imperfect information within the context of BDA in the health sector. The study conducted a systematic review of the literature, specifically focusing on studies written in English and published up until February 2023. We also screened and retrieved the titles, abstracts, and potentially relevant studies to determine if they met the criteria for inclusion. As a result, they obtained a total of 58 primary studies. The findings displayed that the presence of uncertainty, imprecision, vagueness, incompleteness, and complexity factors in BDA significantly impacts the ability to sustain effective decision-making in the healthcare sector. Additionally, the study highlighted that the taxonomy for imperfect information in BDA provides healthcare managers with the means to utilize suitable strategies essential for successful implementation when dealing with incomplete information in big data. These findings have practical implications for BDA service providers, as they can leverage the findings to attract and promote the adoption of BDA within the healthcare sector.

Cruise tourism comprises having a vacation on a large passenger ship or boat, typically visiting several destinations along a predetermined itinerary, and it has taken the attention of academicians for the past two decades. This research study conducts a comprehensive longitudinal analysis of cruise tourism research covering 2003 to 2022. A meticulous selection process identifies 590 seminal articles from the Scopus database, which are then subjected to thorough bibliometric analysis. The R package (Bibliometrix R-package) is utilised to conduct the bibliometric analysis that incorporates various indicators to comprehend the overall trends in cruise tourism research, including annual output, top journal, prolific author, influential articles, author keywords, co-citations, and social structures. The analysis findings indicated that the United States and China emerged as the leading countries in cruise tourism research. Moreover, keywords like cruise tourism, cruise industry, cruise ships, cruise travel, and cruise experience appeared frequently, indicating their prominence within the domain. The insights gained from this analysis provide valuable strategic information for researchers, aiding them in developing and planning their future studies in cruise tourism.

Constance computer program changes during software maintenance cause program structure and its execution to degrade which in the long run reduce the quality of the program, driving to the rise of software ageing. Change analysis is essential to assess and oversee the effect of changes to handle ageing issue. However, the evaluation of risks is still vague. There are also insufficient tools for change analysis amid software maintenance for ensuring anti-ageing. This motivates the study to propose risk mitigation process as a method to evaluate the risks from software change and construct a prototype as a platform to aid change analysis phase during software maintenance. The prototype aims to foresee and minimize chances of risks from software changes that lead to software ageing. This paper discusses on the development of a prototype named Risk Mitigation for Software Anti-Ageing System that is designed and developed based on software development lifecycle methodology to establish successful development and implementation of the system. The discoveries from this study offer assistance for software maintainers to conduct risk assessment during change analysis in software maintenance via the digital risk mitigation process to ensure software anti-ageing.
