Dr. Julio C. Rodríguez-Quiñonez received a B.S. degree from CETYS University, Mexicali, Mexico, in 2007, and a Ph.D. degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California, Mexicali, Mexico, in 2013. He is currently a Professor of Electronics in the Engineering Faculty at the Autonomous University of Baja California. He is involved in developing an optical scanning prototype in the Instrumentation and Automatic Measurement Laboratory and is the research head for the development of a new stereo vision system prototype. His research interests include instrumentation, automated metrology, stereo vision systems, control systems, robot navigation, and 3D laser scanners. He is currently a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
