Janusz Mikolajczyk is the Deputy Director of the Institute of Optoelectronics at WAT University. He obtained his PhD in Optoelectronics and has overseen several projects on free-space optical communication. He is a member of the IEEE Photonic Society and the Photonics Society of Poland. He has authored 118 papers in various journals. His teaching areas include practical applications of photodetectors in security, medicine, and communication, read-out electronics, signal processing, and optical signal detection and modulation fundamentals.
