The research presents a complex analysis of modern tendencies in agricultural sector development focusing on the interaction between sustainable and resilient development concepts and international trade. The linear regression analysis established a statistically significant dependence between production volume, input costs, and export volumes. The influence of several factors on the agricultural sector's efficiency has been confirmed, making the results significant for forming development strategies and management solutions in agriculture. As a complying carrying out the clustering analysis, a group of countries whose approaches to agricultural sector development most fully comply with sustainability principles and whose efficiency of trade activity of agricultural products tends to rise constantly, has been distinguished. It has been highlighted that the European Union is an example of one of the most efficient combinations of economic and trade relationships and sustainable development. Major determinants of economic development in the industry have been distinguished within the context of agricultural production and trade transformation. Fundamental pillars of its transformation, in particular, the concept of bioeconomy and innovative technology implementation, have been defined. It has been highlighted that the effectiveness of bioeconomic policy substantially depends on regional peculiarities and the readiness of a country to adjust these strategies to its economic context. Using the integration of statistical methods and theoretical models, strategies of sustainable and resilient development in the agricultural sector under global economic and ecological challenges have been formed considering future generations' need to use the planet's resources efficiently

The object of research is the methodological foundations for assessing the level of resilience of the socio-economic system in the context of sustainable development management. The main problem focused on in the research is determining the economy's ability to adapt to external and internal shocks in order to minimise their impact and ensure sustainable development. The proposed macroeconomic resilience index (MRI) is constructed using content analysis, systemic, index and quantitative approaches. The developed system for assessing the macroeconomic resilience index covers 18 indicators, which are grouped into four dimensions of resilience: economic, environmental, social and institutional. A sub-index is calculated for each dimension, which allows for a decomposition analysis of the adaptive potential of each area of management. The proposed four-level scale for assessing the resilience of the socio-economic system allows for a quantitative assessment of its state and the identification of vulnerable areas of management. The scale defines a specific state of the system: critical vulnerability; fragile adaptability; moderate; adaptive, and systemic resilience. The use of the macroeconomic resilience index (MRI) methodology allows assessing the ability of the socio-economic system to adapt, recover and maintain viability in crisis conditions. Applying the proposed methodology to assess Ukraine's case in the period 2019–2023, it was found that the socio-economic system on the resilience scale ranges from a state of vulnerability MRI = 0.26 to adaptive resilience MRI = 0.68. It has been established that the social and environmental spheres are critically vulnerable areas for the recovery of the socio-economic system. Meanwhile, the economic and institutional spheres formed the foundation of the resilience of the Ukrainian macroeconomy. The proposed assessment system provides a basis for developing practical recommendations for strengthening adaptive capacity and supporting the resilience and sustainability of socio-economic systems.

The aim of the article is to analyze the prerequisites and factors of changes in consumer behavior of the population in Ukraine and to develop a component model of reasonable consumption of food products, taking into account the national features of socioeconomic development and global tendencies. The key factors influencing the changes in consumer behavior in Ukraine are: the COVID-19 pandemic, military aggression against Ukraine and new benchmarks of the global process, namely, the Sustainable Development Goals. Taking into account the above factors, one of the tasks is to ensure the transition to rational models of production and consumption, the priority of stimulating consumers to economical and optimal use of food, conscious waste disposal to reduce its harmful impact on the environment. In accordance with the principles of sustainable development, the primary indicators of the new consumption model are: conscious choice, which reflects sufficient consciousness and understanding of the consumption process. The consumer is aware of their needs, values and the impact that their decisions have on the environment and society; the responsibility of choice is emphasized on the consciousness of making choices during a purchasing decision and its impact on the environment, they are interrelated and important components of reasonable consumption; frugal choice – to meet one’s needs, ensuring minimal impact on the environment and saving money, time, energy, to satisfy the primary needs that ensure life as much as possible, as well as to optimally distribute available and affordable material resources; rational choice – the need to be guided by reason and logic, weighing all factors, taking into account real and urgent needs, values, constraints and consequences of actions, while taking into account not only instant satisfaction, but also long-term benefits and economic feasibility. Taking into account the indicators of the new model of consumption, a model of reasonable consumption (Food Reasonality Consumption) is proposed, which includes the following elements (RALF): R – rationality of choice; A – awareness of choice; L – liability of choice; F – frugality of choice. Based on the developed model of reasonable consumption, the authors’ own definition of the essence of the concept of «new type of consumer behavior» is presented, which is based on common sense, supported by awareness and responsibility of a person, which are manifested in the process of choice when making a decision on the purchase of food products, forming the basis for thrift and rationality of their consumption and utilization, taking into account the consequences for the level and quality of one’s own life, environment, society as a whole.
