Since 2009, Dr. Vojislav Jovicic has worked as a scientist, docent, and head of the research group ‘Flows with Chemical Reactions – Combustion Technologies’ at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. After obtaining a Diploma in Engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia, he worked in the Combustion Institute of the University of Belgrade. His Doctoral title, received at the FAU, has been awarded “for outstanding achievements” with the presentation of the Bernhard-van-Lengerich Research Award of the Berlin-Brandenburg Society for Cereal Research. His research is related to advanced combustion technologies, applied thermo-fluid dynamics, and non-thermal plasma. Dr. Jovicic has worked on over 20 research projects, published more than 40 papers, and presented results at numerous relevant conferences.
