Fire detection is an important task in the field of safety and emergency prevention. In recent years, deep learning methods have shown high efficiency in solving various computer vision problems, including detecting objects in images. In this paper, monitoring wildfires was considered, which allows you to quickly respond to them and prevent their spread using deep learning methods. For the experiment, images from the satellite and images from the FireWatch sensor were taken as initial data. In this work, the deep learning algorithms you only look once (YOLO), convolutional neural network (CNN), and fast recurrent neural network (FastRNN) were considered, which makes it possible to determine the accuracy of a natural fire. As a result of the experiments, an automated fire recognition algorithm using YOLOv4 deep learning methods was created. It is expected that the results of the study will show that deep learning methods can be successfully applied to detect fire in images. This may lead to the development of automated monitoring systems capable of quickly and reliably detecting fire situations, which will help improve safety and reduce the risk of fires.

Internet of Things deployments face escalating security threats, yet systematic methods for auditing the defensive posture of IoT device networks remain underdeveloped. Current intrusion detection evaluations focus on algorithmic accuracy while neglecting operational requirements—computational efficiency, reproducibility, and interpretable risk assessment—that security audits demand. This paper introduces a reproducible security audit framework for IoT device networks, demonstrated through systematic evaluation of four machine learning models (Random Forest, LightGBM, XGBoost, Logistic Regression) on the TON_IoT dataset containing nine attack categories targeting smart environments. Our audit methodology enforces strict feature hygiene by excluding identity-revealing attributes, benchmarks both threat detection capability and computational cost, and provides complete reproducibility artifacts including preprocessing pipelines and trained models. The framework evaluates security posture through dual lenses: binary classification (distinguishing compromised from legitimate traffic) and multiclass classification (attributing threats to specific attack types). Binary audit results show ensemble models achieve 99.8–99.9% accuracy with perfect ROC-AUC (100%) and sub-15 ms inference latency per 1000 flows, confirming reliable attack detection. Multiclass auditing reveals more nuanced findings: while overall accuracy reaches 99.0% with macro-F1 near 97%, rare attack types expose critical blind spots—man-in-the-middle threats achieve only 78% F1 despite representing serious security risks. LightGBM provides optimal audit performance, balancing 99.93% detection accuracy with 2.76 MB deployment footprint. We translate audit findings into actionable security recommendations (network segmentation, rate-limiting, TLS metadata collection) and compare against twenty published studies, demonstrating that our framework achieves competitive detection rates while uniquely delivering the transparency, efficiency metrics, and reproducibility required for credible security assessment of production IoT networks.

In this article, the development of in-service teachers’ digital competence is examined within an AI-supported learning environment designed to enhance professional modeling skills and the creation of interactive AR-based instructional content. The study investigates how such an environment supports teachers in developing contextual digital skills that enable not only the use of emerging technologies but also their meaningful adaptation to pedagogical goals and instructional needs. A training program involving 916 in-service teachers from Kazakhstani secondary schools was implemented, and survey data were collected to assess changes in digital competence and readiness to integrate AI and AR tools into teaching practices. The findings demonstrate high levels of interest and engagement: 96% of participants expressed readiness for further learning, 86% reported satisfaction with the course content, and 84% showed contextual maturity in applying newly acquired technologies in their instructional processes. These results highlight the potential of AI-supported professional development to strengthen teachers’ capacity to design interactive learning environments, promote equity and quality in digital education, and enhance student engagement.

Educational equity and access to quality learning opportunities represent fundamental pillars of sustainable societal development, directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). Student retention remains a critical challenge in higher education, with early disengagement strongly predicting eventual failure and limiting opportunities for social mobility. While machine learning models have demonstrated impressive predictive accuracy for identifying at-risk students, most systems prioritize performance metrics over practical deployment constraints, creating a gap between research demonstrations and real-world impact for social good. We present an accountable and interpretable decision support system that balances three competing objectives essential for responsible AI deployment: ultra-early prediction timing (day 14 of semester), manageable instructor workload (flagging 15% of students), and model transparency (multiple explanation mechanisms). Using the Open University Learning Analytics Dataset (OULAD) containing 22,437 students across seven modules, we develop predictive models from activity patterns, assessment performance, and demographics observable within two weeks. We compare threshold-based rules, logistic regression (interpretable linear modeling), and gradient boosting (ensemble modeling) using temporal validation where early course presentations train models tested on later cohorts. Results show gradient boosting achieves AUC (Area Under the ROC Curve, measuring discrimination ability) of 0.789 and average precision of 0.722, with logistic regression performing nearly identically (AUC 0.783, AP 0.713), revealing that linear modeling captures most predictive signal and makes interpretability essentially free. At our recommended threshold of 0.607, the predictive model flags 15% of students with 84% precision and 35% recall, creating actionable alert lists instructors can manage within normal teaching duties while maintaining accountability for false positives. Calibration analysis confirms that predicted probabilities match observed failure rates, ensuring trustworthy risk estimates. Feature importance modeling reveals that assessment completion and activity patterns dominate demographic factors, providing transparent evidence that behavioral engagement matters more than student background. We implement a complete decision support system generating instructor reports, explainable natural language justifications for each alert, and personalized intervention templates. Our contribution advances responsible AI for social good by demonstrating that interpretable predictive modeling can support equitable educational outcomes when designed with explicit attention to timing, workload, and transparency—core principles of accountable artificial intelligence.

In the directions of modern medicine, a new area of processing and analysis of visual data is actively developing - a radio municipality - a computer technology that allows you to deeply analyze medical images, such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), chest radiography (CXR), electrocardiography and electrocardiography. This approach allows us to extract quantitative texture signs from signals and distinguish informative features to describe the heart's pathology, providing a personified approach to diagnosis and treatment. Cardiovascular diseases (SVD) are one of the main causes of death in the world, and early detection is crucial for timely intervention and improvement of results. This experiment aims to increase the accuracy of deep learning algorithms to determine cardiovascular diseases. To achieve the goal, the methods of deep learning were considered used to analyze cardiograms. To solve the tasks set in the work, 50 patients were used who are classified by three indicators, 13 anomalous, 24 nonbeat, and 1 healthy parameter, which is taken from the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database.

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of information diffusion in social networks with time delay mechanisms. We first analyze real Reddit thread data, identifying limitations in the sample size. To overcome this, we develop synthetic network models with varied structural properties. Our approach tests three delay types (constant, uniform, exponential) across different network structures, using machine learning models to identify key factors influencing information coverage. The results show that spread probability consistently impacts diffusion across all datasets. Gradient Boosting models achieve R2 = 0.847 on synthetic data. Random networks with a constant delay mechanism and high spread probability (0.4) maximize coverage. When verified against test data, peak speed time emerges as the strongest predictor (r = 0.995, p < 0.001). Our findings provide practical recommendations for optimizing information spread in social networks and demonstrate the value of integrating real and synthetic data in diffusion modeling.
