I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Cheongju University, Republic of Korea. I received my B.S. (2010), M.S. (2012), and Ph.D. (2017) in Landscape Architecture from Seoul National University, where my doctoral dissertation focused on climate change impacts and landslide vulnerability assessment. My research integrates GIS, machine learning, and environmental big data to advance ecological restoration, climate change adaptation, and risk management strategies for urban and forest landscapes. I have published extensively in leading journals such as Landscape and Urban Planning, Sustainability, and Geomatics, Natural Hazards and Risk, with notable contributions on landslide risk, wildfire resilience, and habitat modeling for endangered species. I have also served as Principal Investigator on multiple national R&D projects funded by the Korea Forest Service, Ministry of Environment, and National Research Foundation. In addition, I am a board member of the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture and contribute actively as a reviewer and editorial member for several academic journals. My scholarly achievements have been recognized through appointments to national advisory committees on environmental impact assessment, landscape planning, and climate adaptation.
