He received his master of computer science in 2009 and PhD in Computer Science in 2013 from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia. His research interests include databases, location-based social networks (LBSN), recommendation systems, cybersecurity, application of machine learning algorithms, and data management in cloud and fog computing.
