Elena-Alina Moacă (born Tăculescu) received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Politehnica University of Timisoara in 2008, 2010, and 2014, respectively, as well as her Master's Degree (2017) and Ph.D. in Pharmacy (2023) from “Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara. Currently, she is a Lecturer at "Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara. She has published over 65 articles in ISI journals (H-index-18), 5 ISI proceedings articles, 5 ISI abstracts, 3 published book chapters in international publishing houses, 2 books published in national publishing houses, and over 60 articles communicated in international/national conferences/workshops, and she has participated in 18 national/international research projects, of which she was the project manager for 2 national projects. Dr. Elena-Alina Moacă is focused on the synthesis and characterization of narrow-size magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles using chemical (co-precipitation/combustion methods) and biological routes (green method); synthesis and characterization of magnetic composites "core-shell" type; the coating process of nanoparticles with organic/inorganic/biocompatible natural compounds; production of magnetic nanofluids based on polar/non-polar carriers; production of biocompatible colloidal suspensions for biomedical applications.
